Professor and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong

Christopher Leung is Professor and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a clinician-scientist with research focus on retinal nerve fiber layer imaging and glaucoma management. After obtaining the MD and MB ChB degrees at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he received the Croucher Fellowship Award and completed a clinical and research fellowship at the Hamilton Glaucoma Center, the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Professor Leung has received the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology Clinician-Scientist Research Award (2010), World Glaucoma Association Science Award (2009 and 2011), American Academy of Ophthalmology Senior Achievement Award (2015) and Secretariat Award (2012), and Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Nakajima Award (2010), among other research awards. He is Section Editor of British Journal of Ophthalmology, Contributing Editor of International Glaucoma Review, and Editorial Board Member of Journal of Glaucoma, Translational Vision Science & Technology, Ophthalmic Epidemiology, and Ocular Surgery News (Asia Pacific Edition).
