ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS NOW CLOSED


The Scientific Program Committee of the International Swept Source OCT and Angiography Conference invites you to submit an abstract.  Accepted abstracts will be displayed and discussed in a poster presentation section of the conference. 

 

There will be a “Free paper” award given which will include an invitation to speak at next ISSOCT meeting in early 2019, free conference registration for the ISSOCT 2019, along with 3 nights accommodation at the conference hotel, and a travel grant of up to $2000.

Abstract submission rules

  • The submission deadline is December 31st, 2017.
  • You can enter your abstract for the ISSOCT 2018 free paper competition.
  • All abstracts must be in English, saved as a word document and follow the structured format below.
    • Title
    • Author(s)
    • Affiliation(s)
    • Purpose
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions
    • Financial Disclosure
  • Submissions are limited to 2.500 characters (including spaces).
  • Any associated image captions (up to two high resolution images) can be included in each abstract.
  • You can submit up to two abstracts as First Author for consideration by the scientific program committee (SPC). There is no limit as to how many times an author can appear as a co-author. All financial relationships with commercial interests relevant to the research reported in the abstract must be disclosed.
  • When submitting an abstract, an author can choose to opt in/out of the competition.
  • The Scientific Program Committee (SPC) will review all free paper abstracts. First Authors will be informed whether their abstract has been accepted or rejected, by January 5th 2018.
  • The SPC will allocate accepted abstracts to either a poster or oral presentation, and authors will be informed by January 9, 2018.
  • If an author does not want to present a talk, they can select ‘poster only’ when submitting their abstract.  It is not possible for the author to specify ‘oral presentation’ only.
  • Registration to the Conference is mandatory to be able to present the abstract and get it published in the program and must be completed by January 14th, 2018. 
  • Decisions of the SPC are final and will not be reconsidered. This relates to their decision to accept or reject a submission, and their decision to allocate a poster or oral presentation.
